While most franchised commercial cleaning companies sell an amount of work to the Franchisees ($100k for example) ACOL has no buy-in fees, and instead sells work contract by contract to the Franchisees as they are won from clients. In this way contracts can best be matched to franchisees.
The contract is sold to the franchisee for 33% of the annual revenue. This is usually in a cash lump sum, however payment terms can also be negotiated. The Master Franchise keeps 22.5% and Head Office keeps 22.5%.
Head Office takes care of all the invoicing and cash payment for the jobs and the Master manages the relationship with the client, does quality control, issue resolution etc, and for this 15% of all monthly invoiced revenue is charged. (the Master Franchise receives a 7.5% share of this)
The role is not hands on cleaning, rather managing and growing business within your territory. No cold calling clients, the marketing team provides weekly sales calls which you then price and take through the sales process, with a cloud based sales tool.
